Our literacy strategies are learned from top national educators and educational researchers. During your online tutoring session, an abcsforliteracy.com educator will assess your child's level and introduce you and your child to the literacy strategies most needed to expand your child's reading and writing ability. Then you will receive, via email, 3 or more skill documents (skill document example) with specific literacy strategies and learning activities for your child's needs. These learning activities support learning in the crucial practice time after the lesson. Learning is approached in a fun, supportive, and engaging manner and is focused on teaching the beginning reader and writer ages 3-7. Preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade children learn through reading and writing games as well as reading and writing activities that make children's literacy easy and fun.

• All tutoring sessions are guaranteed. In each session, you will learn one or more good strategies to help your child’s literacy improve or you will not be charged for the session. Additionally, your child will demonstratively improve in literacy (acquire a skill or more) in 3 sessions or your money will be refunded. Daily practice of the children's literacy strategies taught in the sessions is assumed and is key for learning. abcsforliteracy.com, we teach children to read and write easily and with confidence.
• For the child and parent/involved adult, weekly webcam tutoring sessions via SKYPE, YAHOO IM, or Gmail Chat, $25.00 for a 25 minute session, are suggested. We serve the EST, CST, MST, and PST zones, and our convenient webcam sessions bring a certified, experienced educator to you. All that is needed from you for a session is unlined paper (like typing paper as young children are often confused by lines) and a black crayon or marker to help assess your child's skills- and of course you and your child in front of the webcam!
• One guaranteed, webcam session will provide you with key building blocks to jumpstart your child's literacy education- an easy way to give your child a head start in school. For your child to build a stronger literacy foundation, abcsforliteracy.com suggests at least 6 sessions.
